# 68 I tried to install the toolbar with no success. What is the problem?

Before you attempt to install the BrowserAccelerator toolbar please make sure your system meets the following requirements.

Pentium Processor

32MB of RAM

Internet Connection

Windows 95 or Later

Internet Explorer 5.0+

At this time BrowserAccelerator is not compatible with Netscape or AOL browsers.

If you continue to have problems downloading the BrowserAccelerator software, please provide answers to all of the following questions so we may best assist you:

1) What browser are you using to install the BA? Which version?

2) Do you have other toolbars installed? Which ones?

3) Do you see BrowserAccelerator listed when you go to Start>Run>Type "%windir%\Downloaded Program Files"?

Email us a screen-shot of this window. To do this press the Print Screen button once, copy and paste it into an email

4) Do you have administrative privileges for the computer on which you are trying to install the BrowserAccelerator?

5) What are your browser security level settings?

6) What is your phone number and what time/day is best to reach you?

It is possible that we will format BrowserAccelerator for the Mozilla Firefox browser in the future. This depends on the popularity of the browser. We will discuss spending the programming time to allow Mozilla users to download the BrowserAccelerator toolbar once a significant number of people are using the FireFox browser.

# 65 How do I get the Browseraccelerator toolbar to appear?

If the BrowserAccelerator toolbar is not appearing upon download, you will need to enable the toolbar in the Toolbars option menu. In order to enable the toolbar you need to do the following:

Open a new browser window if you don't already have one open. Keep in mind you should be using Internet Explorer 5.0 or better and that BrowserAccelerator is not compatible with Netscape or AOL browsers. At the top of this browser you will need to click the View option of the browser toolbar. You will then select Toolbars on the menu option which has a continue arrow just to the right of it. You will then select the BrowserAccelerator option if it doesn't already have a check mark next to it meaning it is enabled.

If the BrowserAccelerator toolbar still does not appear you will need to redo the download to ensure that it was downloaded successfully.

# 88 How do I take a screen shot to send you a problem I am seeing?

In order to take a screen shot, first be sure the item is appearing in your browser toolbar or on the screen at the time you make the copy. Next hit your "Print Screen" button that is normally located on your keyboard next to the F12 button. Next, open a Word document and hit Control V to paste the copied screen shot. Send this to us so we can further assist.
